A roof related to one of the parking of the Chief Mohammad Bin Saoud University collapsed in the morning. And Thanks to Allah no injuries were recorded and the damages were only limited to three cars and a part of the roof. Three rescue teams, an intervention group specified in collapsing accidents, and the specialized authorities of the Chief Mohammad Bin Saoud Islamic University. The preliminary investigations reveals that the roof of the parking was overloaded due to the maintenance works and the amount of dust set at the site.
This was stated by the Informational Speaker in the directorate of the Civil Defense in Riyadh Captain Abdullah Bin Saleh Alagafari.

His Excellency Director of the Islamic University of Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic Mr. Dr. Suleiman Ibn Abdullah Abu Alkheil revealed the that the collapse of part a of the roof of the parking (9) in the administration building of the university, which took place on Saturday morning, 29/8/1429 e did not harm mankind.

     His Excellency also said in a statement after inspecting the site of a collapse that at about half past nine, part of the roof of the parking (9) West fell, and because there was maintenance of the place which shows that the roof loaded more than its capacity, the incident took place and a small part of the roof collapsed over three cars which were parking without having anyone in them Thanks to Allah.
 
He added: immediately after the collapse, authorized people from the university such as the General Department of Safety and Security, and management of the project, management of engineering, management of the maintenance and operation, in addition to the Civil Defense in the university went to the site, and there they prevented any entering or approaching from the collapse region, as well as the evacuation of parking from the cars.

     He noted that this clarification is as if revealing the real picture of what happened.
