The Civil Defense Corps of Riyadh took control over a fire in a warehouse south of the city of Riyadh. This storage was specialized for chemical substances. The civil defense operation room received the report at 21:16, and instantly 10 firefighting teams, 4 rescue groups, 2 evacuating corps, 2 intervention teams in industrial accidents, an intervention group in dangerous chemical accidents, in addition to 35 units of transferring water.
The Civil Defense managed Thanks to Allah to control over the incident which erupted more than 4,000 meter in the groups of the different chemical substances that ranges between three hundred types and more of the substances used in plating metal.
No injuries were recorded in the site Thanks to Allah, and still the investigations are trying to know the causes of the accident. This was stated by the Informational Speaker in the directorate of the Civil Defense in Riyadh Captain Abdullah Bin Saleh Alagafari.
