The General Directorate of Civil Defense received the 2025 National Award for Volunteer Work (sixth edition), in the category of empowering volunteer work in government agencies for the fourth time. This recognition highlights the Directorate's leadership and exceptional contributions in the field. The award ceremony was organized by the National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development (NCNP).

H.E. Eng. Ahmad bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, Minister of Human Resources and Social Development and Chairman of NCNP Board of Directors, presented the award to Major General Dr. Hamoud bin Sulaiman Al-Faraj, the Director General of Civil Defense. This award is a testament to the Directorate's efforts in 2025.​
