The General Directorate of Civil Defense celebrated Saudi and International Volunteer Day 2025 held on December 5th of every year. The Director General of Civil Defense, Major General Dr. Hamoud bin Sulaiman Al-Faraj, attended the celebration at the Directorate's headquarters in Riyadh.

During the celebration, the Directorate showcased its most prominent efforts and major achievements in the field of volunteer work for 2025, that featured the participation of various associations, volunteer teams, and government agencies. The celebration aimed to highlight their contributions to support civil defense work and strengthen the national volunteer system.
