     The General Directorate of Civil Defense held a workshop for field leaders of government agencies participated in Hajj last season. The workshop showcased the efforts and achievements in implementing the general emergency plan, and reviewed coordination methods applied among various security and service agencies. Attended the workshop the Director General of Civil Defense, Major General Dr. Hamoud bin Sulaiman Al-Faraj, at the Civil Defense headquarters in Riyadh.

     The workshop discussed the integration between the general emergency plan and operational risk management plans and business continuity, which will be reflected in enhancing field readiness to serve and ensure the safety of pilgrims. ​
