The General Directorate of Civil Defense has intensified its efforts in Arafat through increased field visits aimed at monitoring the readiness of fire prevention and protection systems within pilgrim camps. The inspections include escape routes, emergency exits, and the overall preparedness of preventive supervision groups and rapid response teams—all to ensure the safety and security of pilgrims.

     The directorate affirmed the full readiness of its field teams to achieve a high response rate in Arafat and to preempt potential hazards before they occur. This proactive approach aligns with international best practices for emergency preparedness, ensuring a secure environment for all pilgrims.​
