The General Director of Civil Defense preside the annual meeting yesterday morning, to discuss the lessons from 1430 Hajj in the HQ of Civil Defense, Riyadh. The director of Madinah civil defense, Major General/ Salah bin Salem Almohwas and Commander of civil defense forces in Makkah major General/ Suliman bin Abdullah Alamro have attend the meeting, with the attending of  assistant directors and Hajj commanders of Civil Defense. 

The meeting started with a word for lieutenant General / Altwijri, thanking God for the success of  1430 Hajj, and stating that this success would not be achieved with out the efforts of the Custodian of Two Holy mosques Government to reach the highest levels of security and safety for all pilgrims. 

Altwijri also added that holding this meeting at this time comes from the responsibility upon Civil Defense form the government and assuring to study all obstacles that faced the implementing of the Hajj plan and try to avoid it in this year Hajj plan. 

  He added that we must plan and think of proactive good, because we do not have any excuse since the Government of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, has created all of the potential human and material  to serve the pilgrims, and in that the plans must be on scientific bases that can be implemented leading to good results for the safety of the pilgrims in the holy sites. 

He also shown that it was reviewing the agenda of the meeting attended by all leaders of Civil Defense planning and operational activities, and shown that the agenda of the meeting included several topics vital and important, including the need to increase numbers of the Civil Defense equipment and human power, in the Holy City and Medina in the light of the growing numbers of pilgrims each year.

Altwijri noted that emphasis was placed on the importance of acting now to activate the communication-based and construction between all government agencies involved in implementing the plan of the Civil Defense Hajj, which is the General Directorate of Civil Defense is a member, as the case with all other government agencies, from the importance of time and the interest on the speed of solving all obstacles and difficulties that may face the process of implementation on the ground.
