The General Director of Civil Defense Lieutenant General/ Saad Abdullah Altwijri appreciated the great achievement of the twenty fifth National Festival for Culture and Heritage, which unites the past with the modern present of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Altwijri also added that the Custodian of Two holy mosques sponsorship of the first Festival until now has put it within big festivals around the world. This sponsorship presents the heritage of the fathers and grandfathers to the new generations to preserve the national identity of this blessed country and to show the characteristics of the Saudi society. 

Al twijri pointed out the great role of al jenadraih to define the richness and diversity of the Saudi heritage, and to reveal the great potentials of the Saudi people in the past, and giving impetus to the achievements to meet the needs of this time and cope with the challenges.

He also added that the directorate is participating in the Festival under the umbrella of the Ministry of Interior since its opening , adding that the stand is improving every year and benefit from the lessons prepared by assessment and evaluation committees.  

Al twijri pointed out that the civil defense participated this year with 11 sections such as( safety, awareness with a theater which expand to 900 people). The aim of the theater is to deliver awareness messages in an interesting ways to all people of different ages.
