The compensation committees have begun their work on counting the damages caused by the heavy rainfalls in the past few days on the West and South regions of the kingdom, in preparation to pay compensations to the affected people in accordance with regulated decisions and orders. The General director of Civil Defense Lieutenant General / Saad Abdullah AlTwijri has revealed this.

AlTwijri has assured that the situations in the West and South regions are safe, thanks to God, and there have not been reports about missing people or finding dead bodies. (220)  people have been moved from damaged areas to shelters, and the Ministry of Finance presents all services to them.
