The Director General of Civil Defense Lieutenant General/ Saad bin Abdullah Al-Tuwaijri has announced today that Civil Defence Forces have successfully implemented the plan spread in Arafat to ensure the safety of pilgrims.
Al-Tuwaijri said that the early preparations for civil defense forces have contributed in handling this large number of pilgrims and ensure their safety during the escalation to Arafat, and staying there, pointing out that civil defense forces have stepped up its units on the ground in traffic areas, especially around Nemrah mosque, and continued implementation the decision to ban the entry of liquid gas, and checking all safety requirements in camps.
Al-Tuwaijri added that civil defense units in Arafah have accompanied the pilgrims to Muzdalifah, to prevent congestion and overcrowding, and to support civil defense units in Muzdalifah.
