Civil Defense in Riyadh launched a preventive safety campaign on a large number of industrial facilities in Riyadh. This campaign aims at checking the implementation of safety requirements and rules and regulations in these facilities.
Since the beginning of the campaign, the number of facilities that have been closed because of violations were (69). The number of facilities that were given warnings were ( 1072 ) . the violations ranged from random power cables inside the facility, random storing of goods, the use of the facility for residence, and other violations.
The Media Spokesman of Riyadh Civil Defense, Major Mohammad Al- Hammadi stated that civil defense will not exclude any facility, and the campaign will continue on all facilities and commercial sites.
