Civil Defense Training Center in Makkah Region celebrated the graduation of 373 trainees in the preparation course on civil defense works in Taif province. The Director of Civil Defense in Makkah, Major General Jameel Arbaeen patronized the ceremony in the presence of his Deputy, Maj. Gen. Faiz Al-Otaibi and the Director of Civil Defense in Taif Province, Brigadier General Saleh Al-Harthy and a number of government officials.
The Head of Training Center, Brigadier General Khalid Al-Damok stated that the center prepared the new trainees on military works, and after that the center prepared them on civil defense works such as: fire & rescue, ambulance works and water rescue, plus how to deal with hazard materials. Brigadier General Al-Damok added that there are courses on civil defense works for public and private sector employees.
