140 civil defense personnel participate in a training course in Britain

The Fire Services College in Britain receives 140 civil defense personnel to participate in a training course in the field of "Fire Station Command" in coordination with the General Directorate of Civil Defense. The course will start on the 1st of September,2014 and will last for 12 weeks.    

The Media Spokesman of Civil Defense, Colonel Abdullah Al-Harthy explained that, stating that the course aims toward improving the skills of civil defense personnel when dealing with different types of fire, in addition to fire stations management and search & rescue units.   

Colonel Al-Harthy stated that the training course includes 10 essential subjects such as: training  on fire station operations, how to deal with different types of fire including high-rise buildings, firefighters management, making decisions in the right time and dealing with hazardous materials.
